Welcome to Hanoi - the capital city of Vietnam with beautiful tree lined boulevards and colonial buildings, a heaven of vendor foods and hospitable people. Arrive in Noi Bai International Airport, our guide will be waiting there to take you to your hotel in the city center for a short rest.
In the afternoon, take a rickshaw tour along the streets of Hanoi, taking in the vibrant Old Quarter before savoring a Vietnamese dinner in a local restaurant. If you have room for some more food, a short Hanoi food tour would be ideal to conclude your day.

This morning you will travel out of Hanoi city center to the suburban areas for a half-day eco tour discovering the local life. You will get picked up from your hotel lobby around 7:30 am, then set out on a 45-min drive to Tien Le Vegetable village for a Hanoi farming and cooking class, about 18km to the west of Hanoi.
When you get back from the market, you will put on farming clothes and bring farming tools to the field, where many local people have been working since the early morning. Prepare to get dirty as you will be doing some farming activities like plowing, growing vegetables, watering and fertilizing. Then head back to your host family for a cooking session and lunch.
In the afternoon, take a guided tour visiting some main sites of Hanoi: Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex (you just pass by), the One Pillar Pagoda and the Women’s Museum. In the evening, enjoy an interesting Water Puppet Show - a traditional art form which stems from Southeast Asian’s wet rice culture.

Get in our car this morning and we will take you along National Road No.6 to the small, isolated town of Mai Chau, which is about 170 km from Hanoi. Nestled between two towering cliffs and surrounded by emerald green paddies, it is an enchanting sight that presents an idyllic rural scene. Stop en route to capture the beautiful moments of the valley. Lunch with delicious local food is served in the village.
In the afternoon, start the trekking tour to Pom Coong and Na Phon villages - home to the Thai minority people. While trekking along the terraced rice fields and small villages, you will have a chance to experience both the natural beauty of the area and discover the culture by meeting local people. Return to your host family in the afternoon and join them for a homemade dinner.

Wake up early this morning to enjoy the freshest moments of the day with stunning surrounding sceneries. After a light breakfast with the host family, get in the car for a short drive, and then start hiking off the main road, along the terraced rice fields and down the winding lanes to visit Cum and Xam Khoe villages. During your short visit in the villages, spend time talking with the local ethnic people, you will get a chance to learn more about their culture before enjoying an authentic lunch.
Drive back to Hanoi in the afternoon and enjoy the rest of the day at your leisure. If you haven’t been satisfied with the time you spend sampling Vietnamese foods, do another Hanoi food tour with the leisure time you have.

Today is your last day in Hanoi. Enjoy breakfast at your hotel then wander around the city for last minute shopping or sightseeing before getting transferred to Hanoi Airport for your departure flight.
